Tour for challenge-seekers! This route is not as long but just as challenging and leads via Hochfilzen to Kitzbühel. In the middle of the route there is the Kitzbüheler Horn 876 m of altitude and over 7.1 km. The Kitzbüheler Horn is the steepest mountain used for cycling in Austria and has a gradient of up to 22.3%. The destination point is the Alpenhaus on the Kitzbüheler Horn. If required, an additional 3 km and 325 m of altitude can be added reach the peak. From here, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Kitzbüheler Alps and Wilder Kaiser. After a break, follow the same route back to Maria Alm.
